Romiley Cricket Club 3.96

Romiley Cricket Club is a community sports and social club with large junior, senior and social sections. As well as offering venue hire for weddings, parties, corporate training/meetings etc.

Our junior section starts at under 7s all the way through to under 18s. Junior training is on Friday nights throughout the season (April to September) and matches vary dependant on age group.

Senior training is on a Wednesday night 6:30 – 8:00pm. Within the senior section we have 3 male teams and a women’s team. Matches are on Saturdays for 1st and 2nd teams and Sundays for 3rd team and women’s team on an alternate basis.

Social events are held throughout the year, with the larger of these events being held during the season. If you are interested in playing cricket or would like to just join as a social member please feel free to get in touch. Everyone is welcome.

Recently we have also become home to Romiley table tennis club. The table tennis season runs opposite to the cricket season. There are both a junior and senior sections, if you are interested feel free to get in touch.

Our pavilion is available to hire for weddings, parties, corporate training/meetings etc. We have a fully equipped kitchen, bar, tea room (often used as a dance floor) and good sized function room that can seat 70 people or stand around 100. Wifi, Sky TV and a digital projector are also available on request. If you are interested in having your event at our venue, why not come down and have a look round.
