After opening at the start of 2006, Romaya Hair Sanctuary has gone onto become the North West’s first five star salon. Even from the start, Romaya was the first salons in the area to offer innovative features such as private colour rooms, massage basins and television screens.

Over the years, the salon has picked up a range of prestigious awards:

Even after eight years in business, we still strive to bring the people of this area all the latest services and technology in hairdressing. We keep our clients in line with salons in London and other major cities outside Northern Ireland.

Recently we opened a private hair and scalp clinic in our new room the Boudoir-the first of its kind in Northern Ireland. Using unique diagnostic equipment, we are able to scan a client’s hair and scalp to detect and treat any concerns they may have, like hair loss, psoriasis, and unbalanced scalps. For clients who have gone through chemotherapy, we can detect new hair growth and help strengthen the hair while it grows.

The Boudoir can also be used for bridal parties who wish for something a bit more special on their big day. Brides and their wedding party will be given a champagne breakfast while being styled by our in-house bridal hair
specialists Becca and Hannah. At their request we can provide a make-up artist so all you have to do is go home and slip on your dress!

Last year we opened two large sun bed rooms with plenty of room for you to change. Toiletries are provided for your convenience. With late night opening to start in April, we can get you ready for the summer. Monthly offers run on
the sun beds all year round and we pride ourselves on cleanliness

The salon also features a large retail shop for all your styling needs. We are official stockists of Cloud 9 straighteners and wands, with prices starting from £99. This range is now featured in all leading salons. Why not come along and try them out for yourself. We also stock Joico, Alfaparf, Tangle Teezers, Unique One, Revlon, Hair extension styling products. This area is at the front of the salon and open to all. Our staff will be happy to assist you making the right purchase for your hair

In our four private technical rooms, we carry out all our colouring, perming and hair extension work. As its private,this mean no one sees you until you are looking fabulous! These rooms are fitted with televisions and have free Wi-Fi
Our staff are trained to the highest standards and regular training is carried out with Alfaparf throughout the year, keeping them up to date with all new techniques.
We’re pleased to announce we have two fantastic new girls joining our existing team- Niamh and Hannah. After working in Australia managing a large chain of hair salons, Hannah has returned to Northern and is already proving very popular with our clients. Niamh has joined us from a salon in Randallstown and specialises in hair and scalp treatments. The rest of the team are salon owner
