WORKSHOPS
We run seminars for Managing Directors in which we discuss ‘Special Knowledge’, which is original thinking and methods that we have honed over more than 30 years of practical use in all forms of business, and it really works. Our Managing Directors Workshops cover the four most important aspects of business and how they can be improved. BUSINESS ADVISORS
RTM has been a trusted business advisor to companies all over the country for over 30 years, for us advising businesses comprises of two main roles. The first role is to help the business in question identify an overarching Business Strategy and/or Marketing Strategy which will succeed. The second role is to promote ongoing improvements, in line with the overall strategy:
- More Sales: A growth plan and assistance with implementation of the Marketing Strategy
- More Profits: Analysis of where (anywhere in the business) there is waste or opportunity to improve results significantly
- More Control: Ensuring that processes and systems work well enough to allow the MD to be in complete control
The final role is Financial Control. As an MD you will have a ‘go to’ for financial management on a week to week basis. Emphasis on each of these roles can be (and is ) shifted according to the current needs.

XERO
We were one of the earliest proponents of cloud accounting upon its arrival in the UK, specifically Xero. We have used it since 2009 when there were only 4,000 users in the UK, a figure now well over 120,000. Although Xero itself makes great play of how easy and mobile friendly it is, they underestimate the real business benefits which can be achieved if used properly. These are:
