Hello, welcome to RLH Private Tutoring.

I have experience in tutoring pupils from primary level up to GCSE level. I am a loyal tutor with an increasing student base. I teach in the Ormskirk area, with my own classroom set up situated on Stanley Street (from 1st May 2016), my clientele come from Ormskirk, Southport, Liverpool, Wigan and Leyland areas. My tuition is very comprehensive and aims to support children with all elements of their learning. I am relaxed and informal in my approach to tutoring and aim to provide a comfortable learning environment where children feel relaxed and therefore are able to progress. I offer both 1-1 and group tuition.

I specialise in Mathematics and my key aim is to promote confidence in maths for all children. However, I also tutor all other subjects including Systematic Synthetic Phonics and SPAG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar). All my sessions are usually 1 hour long (depending on children’s attention span) apart from Phonics, which is 30 minutes long.

By signing up for tuition from RLH Private Tutoring your child will receive; their own file which will contain all their work they complete, an exercise book to record their workings, access to a wide range of resources to enhance their learning experience and constant and consistent support.

As a parent/guardian you will receive:

1) A meeting, over coffee, once a term to discuss your child's progress. This ensures that you and I can speak freely about your child's current achievement and progress.

2) A written report detailing what topic areas have been covered and their progress within each.

3) I will carry out complimentary academic assessments using the latest resources and results will be included within the termly report.

Whether your child is shy and needs a boost in confidence, or is outgoing and confident, I am able to tailor tuition to keep them engaged and promote learning. I adjust the way I tutor pupils depending on their demeanour, meaning that all pupils make progress.

I have a rooted interest in your child’s achievement and their sessions are designed completely for them to maximise the progress and achievement they make.
