RICHTOY MOTORSPORT of Winterton was established in 1999 by two business partners:- Richard Clayton and Toyne Fox.

Toyne Fox has over 30 years experience in the motor industry and Richard Clayton was awarded the BP Chemical Best Student of the year award at University whilst gaining an Honours Degree in Business and Technology.

The two met in 1995 and after a short period of time it became apparent that they had the same career high standards, ambitions and OBJECTIVES. They believed that the combination of their diverse skills could blend into a business team that would allow them to achieve success in their chosen field. Together, as a team, they became addicted to customer satisfaction, delivering high standards of workmanship and returning value for money in product sales. The two business partners worked 7 Days a week for 2 Years renovating the derelict building 2 King Street, Winterton, building a new Spraybooth and Bodyshop and creating a new business in fully refurbished offices and workshops. Richtoy Motorsport formerly opened in February 1999.

The brand image RICHTOY was created.

Richtoy is a local, family run business that has a team of 13 enthusiastic members of staff. Most team members are fully qualified ranging from ATA, City and Guilds, Road Transport, VOSA and degree status.

We are members of the Good Garage Scheme and Trust my Garage.

In addition we are members of the Motor Trade Partnership where we are audited once a year by the local Trading Standards Agency.

People often ask what is the relevance of the Lighthouse in our company logo, well the relevance is fundamental to our business.

‘A Lighthouse steers boats away from danger, enabling a safe journey.’ Richtoy is a company that is always attempting to do the same for it’s customer’s. I.e Doing our utmost to ensure our customers are best placed to complete their journey safely and successfully. We like to think of RICHTOY as a guiding light for our customers.
