Rhodes Arts Complex is a contemporary venue for the arts with a theatre, museum, gallery, cafe/bar, meeting/conference rooms and dance/rehearsal studios.

The original part of the building (Netteswell House) is the birthplace of Cecil Rhodes, financier, statesman and entrepreneur.

We provides a varied programme of arts events and regularly plays host to professional touring productions, dance groups, musicians and comedians. Films are also show in our tiered 300 seater auditorium on the big screen.

The Bishop’s Stortford Museum contains the Cecil Rhodes Collection. This unique collection of artefacts, documents, archives and photographs provides an amazing insight into the life and times of Cecil Rhodes and attracts visitors from all over the world.
