General
Beauty and nail treatments by Purrfectly polished reserves the right to refuse to carry out any treatment if there are any contra-indications or contra-actions to the desired treatment.

A consultation will be carried out during initial appointments, and a consultation form must be signed before any treatments are carried out.

The therapies and treatments Purrfectly Polished carry out are strictly cosmetic and are solely to improve the appearance and feel of the hands, feet and nails. Any medical or chiropody/podiatry treatments must be sought from a medical professional.


Children Under 16
A parental consent form must be signed by a parent or guardian for clients under 16 years of age. Enhancements such as nail extensions, tint treatments or eyelashes are not carried out on clients less than 12 years of age.


Male Clients
Purrfectly Polished is strictly a Ladies only salon, sorry guys! Do get in touch though and I shall find you a therapist who would be more than happy to provide treatments to all.


Treatments
It is important to make and keep nail infill appointments in order to maintain enhancement and to avoid damage to the natural nails. Every 2 to 3 weeks is recommended for infill/maintenance appointments. See price list for costs, however a 20% of the original treatment price is added on every extra week exceeding the 3 week recommendation due to the extra work and product that will be used.

Nail enhancements should never be removed by the client, as this can result in damage to the natural nail. Professional and safe removal of products is offered at a reasonable price to prevent this, please see price list for costs.

IF YOU HAVE A REACTION AFTER YOUR TREATMENT APPOINTMENT:
If you have a reaction to any products I have used during your treatment,

• apply a cold compress
• inform me straight away
• seek medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen

Please do not ignore symptoms as enhancements may need to be removed.



Whilst all possible care is taken to give high quality nails, sometimes a customer may report a failure through no fault of their own. Contact me if this happens. Subject to a discussion and survey of the broken nail, and at my discretion I may offer a repair free of charge. Do not remove the rest of the nails if you intend to keep them. The repair is limited to the broken nail only. I am fully insured and I do not offer cash refunds on any treatments.
