Whether you’re a first time dog owner or have had dogs before, getting a new puppy is an exciting experience. From choosing the one that’s right for you to building a lifelong bond together, it can be a wonderful and rewarding time for you both.
You may think that a puppy is too young to be trained at eight weeks old, but in fact the first four weeks of his new life with you are a golden learning opportunity not to be missed for you both to help give your pup the best start in life.
Puppy Pre-School is an exclusive, educational support service to help guide you through the first weeks of puppy ownership. From helping you pick a good breeder to settling your pup into his new home and basic training, there is a wealth of knowledge to learn before pup can even go on his first walk!
The course runs for four weeks for one hour per week. This is a one to one service in your own home so all of the focus will be on you and your puppy. We will cover essential topics like house training, basic commands, separation anxiety, desensitisation and daily routines. All of these elements will help to build a confident and happy dog that will be steps ahead of their friends at puppy class.
