An Introduction to Precious Poppets
First let me introduce myself; my name is Robyn Payne and I am a qualified nursery nurse with over 6 years childcare experience.

Where Precious Poppets started
In 2015 whilst I was on maternity leave from working in a nursery I decided that I wanted to become a childminder. My main thought was that I could stay at home with my baby boy and provide him the outstanding quality of care I knew I could give.
I started to research childminders, and what they do, and I could see that it was a lot less regimented than a nursery.
This is when I decided that I could make the link between a relaxed and small childminding setting and a professional nursery, without the large price tag.

The Team
I will be working alongside Kirsty Rattley who is also a qualified nursery nurse with over 9 years childcare experience.

Our Mission
Together we are aiming to provide a stable and secure homely environment for the children we care for, to ensure that they are able to learn and develop in their own time and way.
Becoming childminders means that we can get to know the children on a much more personal level. This allows us to adapt to their specific needs and for us to follow their parents’ wishes.
As childcare professionals we know how hard it is to choose childcare and how daunting it can be leaving your child in the care of someone else. This is why we believe in building strong bonds not only with the child, but with their parents and family.
This is why we are so pleased we can offer this type of care on a much more personal level.
