I am a qualified dog trainer offering puppy and teen life-skills classes, training and behavioural one to one's, social walks, dog walking and a drop in service, based in Taunton.

I have gained my training through the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and use only positive reinforcement and motivational techniques to ensure that training is carried out in a force free and rewarding manner.

Puppy and teen life-skills classes are an ideal environment for both you and your dog to learn the correct social and life skills that are invaluable in every day life. As well as basic training, your puppy will be exposed to a number of everyday objects, situations and environments, all in a gentle manner to build their confidence. Teen classes will continue to build on these skills with the introduction of some more challenging environments and situations.

One to one sessions are available in your home to address any specific issues that you may be facing with your puppy or dog. Again, only positive reinforcement is used to help correct these behaviours. You will be able to continue the techniques following our consultation as there is no 'quick fix' to unwanted behaviours. It is vital that the behaviour modification put in place is continued correctly and so will be explained clearly, enabling you to do so.

One to one consultations are not only offered to help with unwanted behaviours, but also for those that wish to receive training outside of a classroom environment.

Social walks are ideal for those struggling with aspects such as aggression whilst out walking. Social walks have strictly limited spaces to ensure yours and your dogs safety at all times.

A dog walking and drop in service is also available seven days a week should you be struggling with work and dog commitments.
