As a bunch of mates we have been getting together for 10 years and enjoying our love of pork together – teaching ourselves to prepare, cure and cook all that is possible from a pig. Over the years we have tried out many tasty treats, including a whole suckling pig, making our own sausages, salamis and chorizos, air dried hams and some rather odd dishes too.

Throw into the mix lots of fun, a few games, some great tunes, a good portion of booze and we seem to have a winning formula! We called our get togethers Porkstock and over time it has become more and more popular with different people joining us. This year is our tenth anniversary and so we decided we should share our love of pork with more people.

The formula is simple – get a great bunch of people together, get hands-on and learn some new butchery skills, eat some wonderful food provided by the fantastic new FEED CIC in Norwich , drink some amazing beer provided by our local brewers and listen to some great tunes. oh and a Gin Palace!
