Kate Bradley has been swimming for as long as she can remember. She was a club swimmer for Eden District in Cumbria in her teens. She took a rather long hiatus from swimming until 2010 when she started back open water swimming by swimming a mile in Ulswater. In 2011 she entered the Epic swim events 3.8km and in 2012 swam her first 10km swim in the River Dart, she then progressed to swimming just one length of Windermere. One length may not sound a long way but it is in fact over 10 miles, taking just over 6 hours.

In 2015 Kate began to feel she needed a change in career so retrained as an ASA level 1 teaching aquatics (a swim teacher to you and I) while still working part time as a Lab tech. In 2016 she realised her ambition and passed her ASA level 2 and became a full time swimming teacher and has never looked back.

Kate has progressed very quickly and teaches in many schools, universities and fitness centres in the Oxford and Abingdon area. Teaching children with special needs has been very rewarding for her and children of all abilities have found a new confidence whilst being under Kate's pupillage.

You are never too old to learn to swim or have your stroke assessed and Kate is more than happy to take clients of any age and ability.

Kate has undertaken many health and safety courses and was a health and safety committee representative for her previous employer as well as a fire warden and First Aider so you can be assured that anyone under her care will be in safe hands.
