Plain Ales began its life in a tiny double garage behind the house. What started as a hobby in the garden grew like Topsy and suddenly Plain Ales was born! Having been at Microsoft and Nationwide for 15 years James took the plunge, packed in the pen-pushing and struck out on his own, but only after much soul searching and having two careers for many months…we are now 6 years on and include another James...James the Druid brewer.
