Piano & Flute Lessons - Nr. Brigg 2.02

About the lessons:
I offer one-on-one sessions for students of all ages, all abilities.

If you're looking to move through the grades, I will guide you through the ABRSM syllabus and prepare you thoroughly for every exam. This comprises pieces, aural training, sight reading and scales. Grades 1-8 in both piano and flute are covered, as are grades 1-5 in music theory.

Do you just want to learn for the fun of it? Exams aren't for everyone. Sometimes learning a new instrument has the sole aim of providing personal enjoyment & a sense of achievement. Many adults who took lessons as a child & then gave up now regret it and wish they'd stuck with it- I can help! It's easier to learn music as an adult than you may think, whether you're coming into it as an absolute beginner
or just in need of some memory-refreshing.

About me:
I've been playing piano & flute for 25 years, & have taught for the past 15 years. I believe that music should, first and foremost, be fun and enjoyable. My personal playing tastes are wide-ranging, from classical/romantic era pieces to barrelhouse/blues styles when the mood strikes me.
