Penllyn House - Newly refurbished, dog friendly, Period Cottage located on the high street of the small town of Bala.

Whether you are looking for an adventure holiday with watersports, cycling, walking or to just enjoy the beautiful scenery or the abundance of attractions that this stunning area has to offer, Bala is the perfect location. Set in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, Bala gives an ideal holiday base from which to explore the amazing mountains, including Snowdon and Berwyns, Cader Idris. It is also a perfect base to explore the beautiful Welsh coastline. The popular tourist resorts of Llangollen with its horse drawn barges, motor museum, steam train, watersports, festivals, Betws-Y-Coed and Swallow Falls are all close by. White water rafting, a high ropes course, paintballing and Zip Wires are all available locally.

The cottage is also in walking distance of Bala Lake (Llyn Tegid), with its superb watersports activities.

The town itself has many bars and restaurants within walking distance, there is also a Spar, Co-op and 2 local butchers to purchase food for your stay.

The Cottage can accommodate up to 6 people:
Ground Floor – Carpeted Hallway and Lounge with brand new sofa bed and 2 chairs, TV and DVD Player. Dining room with new solid oak furniture; Utility room with Tumble Dryer. Newly fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, washing machine and fridge freezer. Separate W.C.
First Floor – Double Master bedroom with brand new bed and solid oak furniture. Double bedroom 2 with brand new bed and solid pine furniture. Bathroom comprising of bath with shower over, sink, toilet and cupboard.

The cottage also offers BT broadband wi-fi, and gas central heating and has off street private parking it should be noted that access is tight for larger people carriers. There is also a small courtyard garden with garden furniture.

Travel cot, High Chair and Stair Gate are all available at request.

Prices for 7 nights, Saturday to Saturday, vary from £300 in low season, to £650 in high season. These prices include electricity, gas, and broadband, also included are towels and bed linen.
