About us at Pawlkies

Who are we?

Pawlkies is a family run Dog Walking and Pet Care business in Blandford Forum offering a very professional, yet personal service to our customers. We are animal lovers through and through and have always had pets in our lives.

The business was started in 2014 myself (Ben), My fiancee (Laura) and my Daughter (Saffron age 15) following a successful, yet stressful 20 year corporate career. We have been talking as a family for the past 4 years about starting our venture and last August, we finally decided enough was enough and it was time to set our 100% focus and dedication to starting our Pet care business.

I have to say, we definately made the right choice, working with animals everyday is such a joy, regardless of the weather, getting outside and running around with our friends couldn't make us happier, especially knowing that we are helping you all whilst doing so :)

We have some lovely customers so far, both dogs and their owners and its truely a pleasure to be around people that love their animals as much as you all do.


Helping you be busy.....

From first hand experience, we really do understand how busy life gets and know it can be difficult to dedicate the time you would like to, to your loved one. Pawlkies is here to help you do just that!

This is primarily why we decided to start our Petcare business in Blandford Forum. The love, friendship, satisfaction and fun, owners experience from having a dog is a wonderful thing, one, however that often is never realised beacuse their busy lifes get in the way of possibly owning a dog.

Pawlkies is here to help you regardless of how busy you are, we want to help you manage a balanced lifesyle and ensure that if you choose to welcome a dog into your family, you know they will be given the love, attention and exercise that they need, whilst you keep busy......oh, and of course, we've kept our prices low to help your budget too.

Helping you in older age.....

Pawlkies also understand that as you get older it can sometimes become difficult to give your pooch the exercise that they need, which we understand can be frustrating for you both.

We are dedicated to helping older people with their dogs and have are please to be able to offer a reduced OAP dog walking rate to help your budgets too.

To put your mind at rest both for the safety of you, your pets and your homes, your walker will provide you with their disclosure document during your first meet.

Canine First Aid
We ensure all our walkers attend a canine first aid course before they take responsibility for your pets. Please take a look at some useful information that maybe helpful to you in the event of an accident or injury.

Fully Insured
We hold full and specific dog walking insurance protecting aginast liability and injuries.
