Paint and Clay Group - Falmouth 2.05

Philosophy
We are born ready to relate and find a partner, so from birth we are an active participant in relationships. This makes our first relationships the most important. I passionately believe that these should be valued highly and nurtured in order to best help the development of personality and the emotional life of the growing little one.

Creative activity has been shown to strengthen and stimulate the brain's connections. The group provides a containing space in which you and your baby can create, play and explore together. Sharing this experience is a powerful way to nurture your bond and understanding of each other. All art work made in the group holds equal value. It is given attention and taken care of. This is a symbolic way of showing respect to the inner world of every group member - no matter how old!

Having a baby is a life changing event. This transition can be supported by the group's shared knowledge and my 10 years' experience working as an art psychotherapist with children and families.

What happens?

* A group of up to 6 parents and their little ones meet once a week.
* There will be a time to come together, time to make, time to tidy and chat over a cuppa, then time to look and share the art work.
* Pieces of art made can then be taken away and kept as lovely memories of an activity enjoyed together.

Who is it for?

* Parents and their 0 - 3 year old.
* There is no need to have any experience with art materials, just be up for playing and exploring!

As the group is small availability is limited and pre-booking is essential.

Price Structure:

First session is £5.

Get 3 weeks of sessions for £25.50 and have 4 weeks to use them

Or

Keep your space for 6 weeks for £50 and have 8 weeks to use it.

Individual session cost is £9.50 (On the day cancelations for individual sessions will still be charged.)
