Once Upon a Time Childminding 1.33

Here at once upon a time childminding I provide a welcoming home from home environment that is full of fun and imagination!
My name is Kirsty and I live with my husband, a primary school teacher who loves maths and football, and our little boy called Jamie - who could sing row row row your boat all day long!
I have over 10 years childcare experience and I have worked with children of all ages in lots of different settings. I love to tell stories and explore anything that is creative, especially when getting messy!
I work alongside my childminding assistant Nessa, who has worked with children for over 28 years. She previously ran a successful childminding business and has worked on a 1 to 1 basis with children who have special needs. She too loves to tell stories, be creative with role play and is great at making up silly songs to sing.
We both hold Level 3 qualifications in Early Years. Together, we have lots of knowledge and experience in First Aid, the EYFS, special educational needs, behaviour, play, Child Protection, speech and language and much more.
I offer childcare Mon-Fri all day, before and after school drop offs and pick ups and care during school holidays. I provide care for children from 8 weeks old and onwards and can provide healthy meals or snacks throughout the day. I am now able to offer funded childcare spaces for children aged 2,3 and 4, please contact me for more information and to see if you are eligible.
The children have a large play room full of resources to play with and access to a safe garden area where children can explore the world around them. Activities are planned around children's interests and needs where play is always fun and challenging. I offer real life experiences such as gardening, shopping, cooking and we love to explore our local community; including days out to the local parks, libraries and many more.
I work alongside the EYFS to plan exciting and challenging activities and I have lots of fun creating 'learning stories' for children under 5. These are full of pictures and observations of their time at Once Upon a Time childminding.
I pride myself in providing a warm, welcoming and happy environment which, allows children to express their own identities and interests safely and happily. This is a place where new adventures begin!
