Northampton Tennis Coaching (NTC) offers a real passion for tennis. For juniors, tennis is a superb game for any child to learn. Tennis is a skill for life, sociable and life-enhancing. NTC aims to deliver high quality coaching for beginners, performance and social players. We look to inspire children and adults to have fun on a tennis court!
NTC offers a comprehensive year-round coaching programme for Mini Tennis with Tots; Red, Orange and Green for players 3-10 years; Junior Tennis for 10-17 year olds and adults of all standards.
Northampton Tennis Coaching is headed by Simon Gallo who is a UKCC Level 3 Coach with 7 years experience. Simon has been fortunate to work alongside some of the most experienced coaches in the world with his time spent at ZMG Tennis Academy in Florida, with the likes of Juan Nunez, who he was able to shadow and assist. Juan has worked with professional players such as: Chris Evert, Arantxa Sánchez-Vicario (who he took to win her first French Open in 1989), Brenda Schultz-McCarthy, Lorie McNeil, Natalia Zvereva and Gabriela Sabatini.
We currently operate over two venues: the picturesque, quaint Northampton Lawn Tennis Club and the warm, friendly, village tennis club at West Haddon. NTC offers weekly term-time courses, holiday camps and competitions. Open for all ages and standards. Individual coaching sessions available.
