The Northampton Powwow Experience weekend is set in a Family / Children Friendly beautiful 10 acre grassy fields & 40 Acre woodlands venue set in Overstone scout camp, billing lane, Northampton, NN6 0AF

ACCOMODATION
The venue has Multiple Lodges dotted over the site with 100+ bunk beds available for low cost weekend hire or many exquisite shady or open areas to camp with your tent

WHATS HAPPENING
Our plan is to offer a remarkable Native American Indian style experience ( A Powwow ) showcasing traditional type drums, drummers, singers, dancers, workshops and much more over the weekend

PEOPLE
We invite like minded people either within the powwow communities or with a common Native American Indian interest to help us celebrate this beautiful experience and journey weekend

We are pleased to be able to offer a bunk bed in a lodge onsite or you can tent camp

HOW? if you are helping us over the weekend by bringing a tipi, offering to dance, an powwow elder, workshop provider or volunteer etc

DAYS
Saturday & Sunday are the Main Event days ( the Friday is for set-up )

VENUE
The venue is child safe and family friendly as its normally a scout camp and it has all amenities such as hot showers, real toilet blocks, children’s slide, children’s mini assault course and climbing wall etc

TICKETS
We will offer both weekend and day tickets for guests to choose from ( prices and options will be available June from the website )

ZERO EMMISIONS = CHEAP TICKETS
Low carbon footprint weekend desired!
If you purchase a weekend ticket in your name and arrive by bicycle or on foot your weekend admission fee will be refunded 40%

PARKING
Onsite parking is limited to the first 100 cars and weekend ticket holders have first preference, if you wish to camp / park in the 40 acre woodland please let us know prior to arrival!

LODGES & BUNK BEDS
If you prefer to stay for a night or two in a lodge dorm room with bunk beds, you will need to bring a sheet, pillow and duvet.
All the bunks have mattresses
The cost is to be arranged but we guess it will be approx £10 for up to 3 nights ( fri-sat-sun )

FREE CHARGING of phones, laptops and other electronics etc
Electric sockets are freely available in the lodges to lodge guests and we will be offering a 4 gang 240v 4 socket charging station onsite for people to use in the upper field area

ARRIVALS
The earliest entry is 9am Friday 26th

DEPARTURES
You are permitted to stay until Monday 29th and everyone must be offsite by 14.00

FIRES
Unfortunately the landlords have made us sign a rental covenant regarding fires; this means you are not allowed to have individual fires onsite!

We will try our best to have a communal one is a suitable area, this has happened before with success

NEIGHBOURS
Please be courteous and understanding as the venue is now surrounded on two sides by residential homes and as such the event licences are granted on the understanding we cease noise at 10pm

WEBSITE
