I first became involved in barefoot trimming back in 2003. My TB mare Lucy had typically unhealthy TB feet. There were barefoot horses on the yard and the difference in hoof health was evident (even to the layman that I was a the time) and so my barefoot journey began; culminating in gaining a diploma in Equine Podiatry and becoming a member of the EPA UK.

My role is to help my clients help their horses; a horse’s hooves tell us so much about their health and biomechanics, but there is always so much more to learn!
