Mountfield Primary School 3.15

Mountfield School was built in 1956. It is situated on the corner of Halewood Avenue and Kirkwood Drive, North Kenton. The school buildings are spacious and bright, and we enjoy a large field for games and other recreational activities.

We share our site with Surestart Northmoor and this provides parents in the area with excellent information, services and support for parents of children under 5.

Within school, all classrooms are large and provide an attractive working environment for the children. The school also offers a well equipped PC suite and a newly established well stocked library. A special room houses a number of resources, as well as offering space for small groups to learn music, cook and enjoy extension work.

The school has a Foundation Stage Unit which is to the right of the main entrance.
The Nursery offers 26 part time morning places. We also have the benefit of an independent Pre-School and Creche which runs in school.

Mountfield Primary School welcomes children from all catchments throughout the City.

We should be pleased to welcome children of all ages to the school provided that places are available. (Our school can accommodate up to 210 pupils excluding the Nursery).
