MOOSHY LA LA's Attique - “Beneath the blue suburban skies, just a stone’s throw from Liverpool’s famous Penny Lane, Mooshy La La is a Bohemian Glamorous Treasure trove! Influenced by Barbara Hulanicki’s ‘BIBA’ of the late 60′s 70′s, this exquisite Vintage/Antique Boutique has a strong Art Deco theme! Selling Vintage Clothing, Antiques, Chandeliers, Vintage Costume Jewellery, Artifacts, Collectibles and Lots lots more. You can browse to your hearts content without the pressure or hurry to buy in this little oasis of opulence!”

My work history has always involved display & presentation, starting in fashion in the seventies, then prestige perfumery eg. Christian Dior, Chanel, Givenchy etc. I'm a qualified interior designer, my preferred styles being Nouveau, Deco, Bohemian & Gothic Glam.

My biggest inspiration has been BIBA,which I was fortunate to experience first hand before its closure in 1975, this magnificent emporium influenced my own little vintage bazaar.

"MOOSHY LA LA"

PRICE RANGE: This is difficult for me to categorize with a £ or ££££ as my stock varies from little pieces of costume jewellery from a couple of pounds to Victorian Antique chandeliers to a couple of thousand pounds, but one thing is for sure you will always find something within your price limit!!!

TRANSPORT
Mooshy La La is very easy to get to it is on a direct bus route (86,86a,80,80a,)from Liverpool City Centre to Penny Lane, you will actually see Mooshy La La from the right hand side window as you get ready to ascend at Penny Lane. There is plenty of street parking (no meters or residents only) all around the shop, so no worries there! A Taxi ride from the City Centre would be around £7.00. AROUND THE AREA There are quite a few bohemian independent shops around the area, antiques, crafts, vegan foods, tattoo. As well as many Charity/Thrift shops.

There is a HUGE variety of eateries & bars. The Penny Lane area borders a large student area and an affluent shopping/residential area, thus giving a wide range of choice in shopping and eating/drinking! What more could you ask for!!!!!! :-)

"If you are wondering where the name 'Mooshy La La' comes from.... its the nickname of my daughter Misha Lily .....when she was born my then 4 year old son, Lloyd, decided on his own variation of the name ....hence.....
'Mooshy La La'.... "

"I adore the Deco period & I think "Mooshy La La" is a perfectly frivolous name that conjures up the image of a Ziegfeld Flapper of the day!!!!"
