Baking cakes has been my favourite past-time since I was a child. When I dared to make a carved cake (a Mickey Mouse cake) some 15 years ago -I got the cake decorating bug! The cakes photo's posted so far on here & my website are cakes made for friends. I'm so passionate about it, I have now decided to start a business (I am Test-Trading at Broughton Xmas Fair, 27th Nov-1st Dec 2013)

I love the design process as well as the actual cake decorating. I'm obsessed with carving cakes into 3D images & also making figurines. I keep seeing objects & try to work out how I can make them out of cake! If you have any idea's for cake designs, no matter how silly it may sound -please do discuss with me, I love being challenged & learning new cakey techniques!

I think it's so important that the cake doesn't just look good, that it tastes good too, hence I receive many compliments regarding the flavours & texture of my cakes as I am focused on these as much as the design of the cake.
