Mollington Pre-School 2.1

The Pre-School dates back to 1967 with a small group of like minded parents living locally in Mollington under the guise of a Playgroup. Gradually the group grew and in 1998 the Mollington Playgroup parents elected to re-name the group "Mollington Pre School" to reflect the fact that it followed the National Curriculum Guidelines for Early Years education and is subject to OFSTED inspections (OFSTED Registration EY255969). The Pre School is a registered charity (Registered Charity Number 1016320) and is run by a parents committee on a not for profit basis. Mollington Pre School operates from the 'Old School Building' which is situated in Mollington near Chester and is adjacent to St Oswald's County Primary School, which the Pre School maintains a strong link to. The Pre School is staffed by 4 enthusiastic members, with additional support staff available where required. Children attend from the village and surrounding areas. Children attending the Pre School typically start attending from age 2 1/2 years and attend up until reaching a Primary school age. All children share access to a secure enclosed outdoor play area and participate in many varied activities.
