MF Gallery and Framing Ipswich 1.33

MF Frames Ltd had been established for nearly 30 years under the management of Jenny and Alan Milverton who happily retired in June 2014. The company, newly named MF Gallery and Framing Ltd, is now run by Owen Berry, a picture framer since the age of 15. In the studio on St Helens Street, Owen and his colleagues Andrew (picture framer at MF since 1996) and Beverley (Owen’s mother) provide a bespoke picture framing service for all types of artwork, memorabilia and needlework.

As an individual Owen studied Art at Northgate High School, received a foundation degree in Art and Design from Suffolk College and Graduated in 3D Design and Craft in 2011 from Colchester Institute. His own work comprises both modern and traditional styles ranging from local landscapes to Ben Nicholson inspired modern works, primarily in the medium of oils. He has also dabbled in jewellery design, ceramics and fused glass.

The gallery holds works from both local and international artists who use all manner of different styles and techniques. Owen is always keen to find new, local talent and help to promote them through exhibiting at the Gallery.

As the new owner, Owen is very proud to be upholding the values and service which have contributed to the ongoing success of MF Frames as a quality framing service in Suffolk. He is also pleased to be promoting the artistic talent that is to be found in and around the area.
