Halesworth Day Services is a day service offering a range of day time opportunities for people with a learning disability who live in and around Halesworth Suffolk.


We run a furniture recycling project taking in items of donated furniture which we then strip down and re-finish, these items then go on to be sold in our shop. We also sell other craft items made in the day service such as cards, blackboards and fabric items such as bags. In addition to learning the skills connected to the furniture project and running the shop there are other activities on offer, these include music, cookery, gardening, art, voluntary conservation work and other community access activities. The social aspect of the activities is really important in building relationships and meeting new people.
