Mane Priority offers a range of different equine services to cater for all needs.

I am a hard working and trust worthy with sole interest in a high standard of care for all our equine friends.

I studied a National Diploma in Equine Management at Bicton College, qualifying with a merit before complete a Foundation Degree in Equine studies and an Honours Degree in Rural business Management at Duchy College. Also completed BHS exams, including Riding and Road safety.

Having been around, working with and owning horses I am passionate about the care and well being of all our four legged friends!

Mane Priority is set about to offer help with the care of your friends, either regularly or just while you have a needed break! From regular daily checks, pampering session or help to tidy the yard.

References are available if required and always happy to deal with specific requests if needed.

Services and prices

Visits outside of a 10 mile radius of Salcombe or 5 miles radius of Kingsbridge will be charged a mileage fee of 30p per mile.

Full day daily checks (morning and afternoon) – Field kept
Services to include:
• Feeding
• Checking water/troughs
• Hay/haylage
• Rug changes
• Field perimeter checks
• General horse checks – for cuts, grazes etc.
• Grooming including feet picked out (if required)

Cost: £15 for the first horses, an additional £10 per extra horse

Full day daily checks (morning and afternoon) – stable kept
Services to include:
• Feeding
• Watering
• Haynets, hay or haylage (including if needed in field)
• Mucking out
• Bedding down
• Rug changes
• Grooming including feet picked out
• Bathing (if required)
• General check – for cuts, grazes etc.
• Field checks – water, perimeter check, gate security.
• Other requirements if requested

Cost: £20 first horse, an additional £12 per extra horse

Morning or afternoon only care – stabled or field kept
Services to include:
• Feeding
• Water/water troughs
• Hay or haylage
• Turning in or out
• Rug changes
• Field perimeter checks
• Field shelter checks
• Grooming
• Washing legs – if required
• General horse checks, for cuts etc
• Other requirements if requested.

Cost: £12 for the first horse, an additional £8 per extra horse

Additional services:
• Turning out or in
• Rug changes
• Feeding
• Mucking out
• Grooming

Cost: £10 per half an hour

Attendance for events

If required for the following:
• Dentist
• Farrier
• Vet
• Physio

Cost: £10 per half an hour

Holiday cover
Please see full day price guide, a 15% discount will be given for cover required for more than 7 days.

Tack cleaning (to include products)

Cost: £10 saddle and bridle
£5 per martingale, breast plate etc.

Poo picking
Cost: £10 per half an hour

Tack room Tidy
This can also be requested for tool rooms etc.
To include:
• Organising of tack and equipment
• Organising lotions
• General tidying
• Sweeping and cleaning the floor
• Removing cobwebs

Cost: £10 per half an hour

Bathing (to include products)

A complete pamper session for your four legged friend, mane and tail wash and full body wash.

Cost: £20 per horse.

£10 per horse

Dog walking

Dog walking available, more than one dog welcome!

Cost £10 per hour (one dog) and additional £5 per extra dog

Exercising
To include washing down afterwards.

The following services are available:

• Lunging - £10 for ½ hour
• Loose schooling £10 for ½ hour
• Walking out £10 per ½ hour
• Hacking £20 per 1 hour
• Schooling – flat work £15 per 1/2 hour £20 1 hour
Jumping - £20 half an hour £30 1 hour
