I make ceramic pots such as bowls, jugs, dishes, and mugs, and planters, birdbaths and sculptures for the garden and decorative items including porcelain jewellery, wall plaques, gift tags and cards.

My work is inspired by the landscape and natural elements; stormy skies, sunrise mists, the sea crashing against the cliff face, the stillness of the rock pool and the impressions of time and change left on the face of the earth.

Every pot is unique, individually designed and made by hand from stoneware clay. They are fired in a kiln to harden the clay, then glazes made from raw materials are been applied by dipping, spraying, trailing and brushing them onto the pot. They are then fired to 1260° C, making them more durable and chip-resistant than earthenware pottery.
