Lowestoft Sea Cadets offer many activities and the list of things available for Cadets to get up to is only ever growing! Currently, we offer (both in and outside of the Unit):

RYA Powerboating, Rowing, RYA Dinghy Sailing, RYA Windsurfing, First Aid, Catering and Stewarding, Seamanship Skills, Adventurous Training (Camping and Hiking, Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing etc), Corps Knowledge, Drill, trips on Offshore power and sailing vessels, foreign exchange opportunities, Unit camps and much more!

As well as regular unit activities, Cadets are encouraged to attend courses and camps outside of the home unit for massively subsidised prices and with all travel, food and board included. We are looking to increase the work we carry out with neighbouring units to allow us to offer even more activities, closer to home!

Many of our Cadets go on to have a career in the Armed Forces or the maritime service industry such as cruise lines and apprenticeships, but even if they choose to stay closer to home, the life skills that are learnt from attending our organisation will stand them in good stead whatever they decide to do.
