What is Pilates?
Pilates is a selection of strengthening and mobility exercises that develop the body uniformly using different planes of movement and joint actions.
Mat work exercises include all parts of the upper and lower body and are practiced in a flowing manner. They help to correct postures to restore physical vitality.
Small equipment can be used to provide support for beginners & people with certain medical conditions* to modify the exercises. The equipment can also be used to add resistance for those looking to challenge their body further.

About Me:
Following a car accident 4 years ago and subsequent treatment for Lumbar Spine pain I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.

I took up Pilates to help me deal with the pain and symptoms of my conditions. The benefits were so great I decided to train to become a Pilates instructor. I am now a fully qualified and insured specialist instructor.

So, overcoming obstacles of health has taught me a lot and I would like to help others rehabilitate, get fit and well and enjoy all life has to offer.
