Im Louise and I am married with a lively one year old called Jacob. I am a full time Teacher of Textiles and am also Head of Design Technology in a thriving Secondary School in Lancashire. I have always loved making since being a little girl and decided being creative was the career path for me. I studies Art & Design (Graphics) at School achieving an A* and then went onto to study a GNVQ Advanced in Art and Design at College. It was during this course I began my passion for Textiles. I enjoyed the textiles module that much I decided to study for a degree in Textile and Surface Design. After acheiving my degree I decided I wanted a stable career but still wanted to work in a creative way so decided to train as a secondary school teacher. I have been a Teacher for ten years now and love the challenge of the job. It is so rewarding. Of course, I am always busy at home on my sewing machine, making items for myself or for friends so decided to turn my passion into this.Live. Love. Sew by Lou B Lou was born.
