Peter Bates has been training gundogs since 1967. Peter has trialled and won with Spaniels, Golden Retrievers and Labradors. He has made up five Labrador and one Golden Retriever Field Trial Champions and has qualified for the IGL Retriever championships eleven times. In 2013 FTCh Levenghyl Gemstone qualified twice winning a walked up two day Open Stake in the North of England and a driven two day Open Stake in the South of England proving that she is an outstanding, complete gundog able to win on any ground.

Peter lives in Yorkshire and is a Kennel Club Retriever “A” Panel Judge, judging in the UK and abroad. He is founder and owner of the famous Levenghyl line and competes extensively in the trialling season.
