Leeds Sports Therapy was formed as a result of the drive and enthusiasm of Stephen Jarmuz, a well respected Therapist based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

The name Sports Therapist is quite deceptive, as almost anyone can benefit from treatment, regardless of if they participate in sport or not.


Stephen treats a whole host of problems such as back ache, headaches and general aches and pains. As well as sports injuries (e.g. plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow and many more)

Stephen qualified in 2011 with flying colours from AHG in Manchester with 2 qualifications -:

- Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Sports & Remedial Massage.
- Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Sports Therapy.

Since then, he has become a well known face, as well as a well respected therapist amongst professional teams and athletes in Yorkshire.

He is currently making a name for myself amongst some of the most talented individuals in both british and international sports scenes, being lucky enough to work with a wide range of people in 2012 including:


• National age champion triathletes & National Champion Cyclists

• Elite level cyclists from Endura, Raleigh, Metaltek and Herbalife

• North of England, Yorkshire Champion & GB #1 Runners

• An elite level duathlete

I am trained in a huge number of techniques, which allows me to treat the majority of problems an athlete can encounter. Some of these techniques are:

• Postural assessment and correction
• Myofascial Release
• Trigger point Therapy
• Sports/Remedial Massage
• MET/PNF
• Soft tissue release


As a competitive cyclist (albeit not a professional one) Stephen understands the stresses and strains placed on the body by training for/competing in events and also knows how frustrating an injury can be when it strikes just in time to interrupt important training/competitions.

The number one aim is to have clients fighting fit as soon as possible from the first consultation.

£20 for a 30 minute session
