Mark is my second instructor and he is a very experienced. Unlike my first one, he took me for test roads from our first lesson and pushed me a lot to make progress. He never gave up on me even my test is near his wife’s due date. I passed my test on the same day when his twin babies were born. I have gone from being a total non driver to a fully fledged license holder in less than a year .with marks careful guidance, and endless patience, I quickly gained my confidence , reversing round corners, bay parking,and turns in the road soon becoming second nature, and when in doubt he made me face my fears and realise non of them were really that bad. Also during the lessons to deal with different situations be they on a crowded residential street to the busy a2 as is necessary when living S.E London . from the get go mark made me feel at ease, his calm and reassuring nature allowed me to relax.the technique he uses are perfection, easy to understand and hard to forget. Mark is a great driving instructor: easy-going and understanding but also very thorough, making you aware of what the examiners expect and pay attention to. The maneuvers are practised again and again with reference points that are foolproof and eventually make it easy. When I first met Mark, my driving was beheld with faults and ingrained habits from my home country. Having worked with mark over past couple of months, not only did I manage to improve dramatically as a conscientious driver, while expunging most of such habits, my first attempt at the practical too was very successful! Mark’s direct approach bodes well for any learner, as he’d tell you straight where he noticed faults, and preps one with remedies, suggestions and on the spot driving simulations to negate them. Most importantly, his advice and cues are consistent, throughout our working together, which facilitated my remembering and appreciating better all the lessons learnt. And it bears fruit in the end! Hi Mark, hope you have had a great summer. Here comes my review, sorry for the delay.

Before starting driving with Mark I had been with a bsm for two years and I had already failed my test five times. Needless to say my confidence was very, very low. I thought I would never get my licence...
Mark changed everything. He is a true professional - calm, patient and an excellent teacher.

After a few months of tuition with Mark at Learning Curve I booked another test and I passed on my first attempt - The inspector even complimented me on my driving skills! I was on cloud nine.

If you are looking for a first class instructor then give Mark a call. I cannot recommend him enough.

In 2001, I decided to take the plunge to learn how to drive, I was told that a certain national Driving School was the best so I went with them. Anyway, £1300 later, I was still trying to learn how to drive, to make matters worst the instructor they assigned to me was not very nice, he swore at me everytime I made a mistake which really affected my confidence and I still remember dreading those lessons. In the end I decided that driving was not for me because I thought every instructor was the same.

10 years later I was speaking to a work colleague and they recommended Mark, I was a bit apprehensive of another driving instructor but I was reassured that he was very good. On my first lesson I definitely saw the difference in technique, he was patient and took the time to explain everything. To cut this short, I passed 1st time.
