Learn French in the heart of Norwich in the historical Elm Hill.
I am a qualified teacher of Modern Languages and former interpreter and translator for British courts and the police with15 years’ experience in further education, interpreting and translation.

Classes run every day of the week (not Sundays)
All levels –Beginners to Proficiency
For each level there is one session per week.
Classes run for 30 weeks from September to June. (10 weeks –Sept to Dec / 10 weeks Jan-March / 10 weeks April-June)
You can join any class at any time of the academic year.
To make sure you are placed in the right group, your level will be assessed in a one-to-one 20-30 mins free session

Group Sessions £10 -20 per session, per person, depending on level and number of students per group
10 lessons x 6 students per group Session Package £110 (per person)
The length of a session varies: 1hour, 1h30min or 2hours (with coffee break)
One to one Session £15-20 per session. The normal length of a one-to-one session is 1 hour)

You will develop your academic and personal strengths with emphasis in oral proficiency. You will work in pairs and in a group and you will be encouraged to speak as much as possible. Each lesson will focus on listening and speaking and pronunciation. Grammar appropriate to the level will be integrated into the teaching and learning.
In order to be exposed to as much spoken French as possible you will have your own textbook and CDSs (or MP3 audio files) to use at home as much as you like.

There are many advantages to private tuition compared with college-based learning:
-no time wasted in filling forms
-tuition is tailor-made to suit the needs of individual students using appropriate materials; the time and duration of lessons can be adapted to suit retired people or with people with irregular work patterns;
- there are more opportunities to practise the language on a 1-1 or in small groups (2-6) giving students equal opportunity to participate in the lesson
- flexibility-you can reschedule lessons that you might otherwise miss due to some unforeseen circumstances or holidays abroad
