Why should you do Judo?

Why Koizumi Judo Club?
Koizumi Judo Club is a local club to Darlington that feeds surrounding areas from Tees Valley and South Durham. At Koizumi we believe in psychological, social general physical development, with later athletic specialization available to those who take an interest in competing. Koizumi Club is run by qualified CRB checked instructors associated with the British Judo Association Our coaches come from different Judo schools and all have individual styles and ways of practice meaning the needs of all of our students can be met.

At Koizumi Judo Club we look to;
> Increase the positive aspects of a sporting experience
> Teach goal setting
> Instil self-discipline, confidence and belonging
> Develop a large an inventory of skills
> Promote the philosophy & ethics of the sport of judo
> Encourage & support players to compete in competitions and grading. One to one “Train 2 compete” sessions are available upon request.

Class Training Schedule;

Thursdays ONLY
Juniors (5-9years) 5.45 -6.45pm £1.50
Juniors (9-16years) 6.45 - 8.00pm £1.50
Seniors (16+) 8.00 - 9.15pm £2.50


Mondays @ EVOLUTION
Seniors (14+) 20.30 - 22.00pm £2.00

Note that after 4-6week trial period all practitioners are required to register with the BJA;
