Kiddleydivey have been established for nearly twenty years and have recently moved to the Colchester, Clacton and Ipswich area.
We run music based activity classes for the elderly in residential, care and nursing homes as well as for local community groups for the elderly, with each session aimed at encouraging gentle exercise, activity and social interaction. Our very interactive approach helps to stimulate memory function and conversation.

It's been proven that music has many therapeutic benefits; it evokes emotions, entertains, taps into memories, promotes social interaction, motivates and invigorates. Above all, it is fun!

That is why music therapists and care professionals recognise and value the medium of music to improve the quality of life for those who suffer limited mobility, have dementia or other brain injuries and of course, the elderly generally.

Kiddleydivey sessions are specifically designed by a music therapist and doctor of musicology to be stimulating for both the body and mind. Residents are encouraged to participate according to their ability. Our themed sessions include many activities like singing, gentle movement exercises, dancing where appropriate as well as using fun props and lightweight percussion instruments.

Kiddleydivey Colchester, Clacton & Ipswich are proud to be associated with the local FaNs Network, which aims to make living in residential care more inclusive and less insular.
