In 1974, Mr. John Guest invented the now famous ‘Super Speedfit’ tube connector concept. The new product reduced assembly times to a few seconds with an instant tube-coupling system, which needed no tools for putting together or disconnecting.

The technology has now helped connect tubing in a wide range of industries including; plumbing, telecommunications, drinks dispense, compressed air and pneumatics, and the automotive industry.
