A fascination with metal and our ability to shape it into beautiful forms has led to me studying metalworking techniques and the various ways to best use them to create three dimensional realisations of thoughts or drawings.

I hold a fascination with old ways of hand working and bench skills. Enjoying vintage metalworking machines and equipment has encouraged me to make most of the tools I need.

After a brief time working for a friends' jewellery shop and workshop, I discovered a passion for passing on my acquired knowledge through enabling people wanting to acquire a new skill. Wonderful to also work with more experienced people on more specific goals.

Seeing others achieve is a real thrill for me. I give my all for those who apply themselves to achieving their goals in jewellery and art metalwork.

It is the passionate goal to support as far as possible, new and established local makers. Upon completing my degree in silversmithing and jewellery, no outlet, be that creative, practical or commercial was obvious at the time.
The aim of Jewellery Making Cornwall is to create a hive of activity that attracts the very best instructors and makers. Encouraging individuals to take up this life affirming craft. Supporting them, offering the opportunity to display work and start them on the route to becoming a recognised maker in their own right.

Looking to keep the local craft theme in this studio setting. As and when other crafts present they will be offered for sale.
