why…
The Italian Job (1969)… one of my favourite movies and filmed the year I was born,It’s also a family thing…
My Mother was from Italy and this would have made her very proud, enough said!
My Father worked at the Cowley, Oxford factory that produced the Austin mini from 1959 - 1968 before production was moved to Longbridge.
My big brother took me on when he was manager and head chef at The Civil Service Luncheon Club in Oxford, he gave me a job and taught me the way when I was young... A long time ago.
My other brother works in production of the modern BMW mini at the Cowley factory just a stones throw away from where i grew up.
My Wife, well she loves Italian food and Minis but hates me watching non-stop foody programs… oh and she thinks she’s the boss.
So you see it had to be done…

We roll up with our Austin Mini kitchen equipped with an artisan wood fired pizza oven, up pops our classy gazebo and with a little time for setup and heat up were good to go.
