Steve & Victoria would like to welcome you to our home in the beautiful Lake District. We are an adults only guest house and are focused on providing quality guest house accommodation and excellent customer service while making you feel at home. You can be assured of our personal attention throughout your stay.



Our breakfast menu is varied and all breakfasts are made to order. We try and use local produce wherever possible. Our eggs are supplied by Bannerigg Farm in Windermere and our meats are supplied by Haytons Butchers in Staveley, where the Cumberland sausage is homemade on site. All our preserves and muesli are homemade by Victoria.



We have four ensuite bedrooms in the main house and a detached ground floor ensuite garden room for something extra special. Pets are welcome in our garden room only. All our rooms have en suite showers, free WiFi, digital flat screen TV's with Freeview channels, radio alarm clocks, Egyptian cotton sheets, hairdryers, walking guide, complimentary tea and coffee facilities as well as a slice of homemade cake.



Our guest house is situated centrally between Windermere and Bowness on Windermere, we are an ideal base for exploring the Lakes and Fells of the Lake District National Park with Lake Windermere a few minutes walk down the hill. We are within walking distance of the Beatrix Potter attraction and within easy access to ferry nab where you can cross Lake Windermere to Beatrix Potters house. Public transport is widely available and we are only a mile from Windermere train station.
