Hotel De La Mer has been owned and run by the Tillen family for over 30 years - since 1976 . We pride ourselves on giving our guests a great holiday experience from the moment they book to the moment they leave. With so many guests returning year after year we must be getting something right.

We offer a wide range of packages including mini breaks, festival tinsel and turkey trips as well as various themed holidays.

Set in beautiful Babbacombe the beach and cliffs are right on our doorstep and situated on the South West Coast Path. Babbacombe boasts a number of great tourist attractions to visit including the Cliff Railway, Babbacombe Model Village and Bygones Museum all only a short walk away. Babbacombe Theatre is just up the road and Babbacombe itself is full of lovely shops, restaurants and cafés so there's plenty to do while you're here.

A few years ago we set up the Torbay Holiday Helpers Network (THHN) to offer free action packed holidays to families around the UK who have seriously ill children. We started by simply offering a few free holidays at our hotel. The THHN is now a registered charity working with over 100 local businesses and accommodation providers all of whom have helped us give over 255 free holidays so far. This is something we are very proud of.
