Horningsham Village Fayre - Sunday 11th June 2017 2.97

Grand opening by Viscount Weymouth.

A traditional village fair with bunting, cream teas, a dog show, an amazing plant sale, the best locally baked cakes for miles and a fun, family friendly atmosphere.

The theme this year is woodland crafts so they'll be displays such as willow weaving, wood turning and an amazing chainsaw display team carving up something spectacular!

They'll be rides for the smaller children, bouncy castles for the older ones and plenty of fun for everyone with the splat the rat and traditional fayre games. For the bigger kids they'll be a great selection of classic cars, a whiskey raffle, plenty of tasty food, a well stocked bar and some great entertainment.

Typically we get between 2000 - 2500 visitors to our fayre. A large draw is the pretty village setting with stunning views over the Longleat Estate. The fayre is heavily supported by the village residents and is traditionally opened by a member of the Thynn family.
