As an established herbalist and Health care provider my profession progressed as I began to seek out natural remedies for my own horses, such as bach flower remedies, wild herbs, Reiki, Essential oils and aromatherapy. In my research I realised I was not alone in my chemical-free approach and ventured into the wonderful world of natural Hoof Care and good horsemanship.

Hoofmanship for me is the combination of solid natural Hoofcare and the assistance to understand and take care of the Equine body, using the very needs and language the horse understands.

I’ve ventured on a whole new path demonstrating that the barefoot approach allows horses to lead their domesticated lives more naturally. The encouragement of a stress and steel free lifestyle and implemented changes to their dietary, environmental and exercise needs makes for not only happier horses but owners too.

After testing out these methods with my own horses, the knowledge I have learnt is simply too good not to share which is how this business was born alongside Thoroughbred Country Services.

I have travelled widely to train and study with many well known experts in the Hoofcare profession.

I started my journey with Applied Equine Podiatry from the U.S.A and soon ventured, I have travelled with and have been mentored by Wendy Leech based in Shropshire and then trained briefly with
The Equine Podiatry Association U.K.

I am qualified and have studied extensivly in the U.K and Bulgaria with Nick Hill AANHCP and Ralitsa Grancharova (Equine Veterinary) DVM, MRCVS. I am qualified also with Liberated Horsemanship furthering my studies with Dr. Bruce Nock, MS, PhD, Anne Corso and Steve Hebrock in the U.S.A. Within the U.K I continue my observations, studies and mentoring with Nick and Ralitsa and Sarah Oliver (Liberated horsemanship) at Dare2bebarefoot

I will always continue my education to keep up with new developments in the Health, Herbalism and Care of Horses and their Hooves plus their overall body. Always ensuring I can offer you a professional and caring service.
