I run a unique childminding setting called home from home and that is exactly what it is. It has all the comforts of a home environment with learning and opportunities of a nursery.

At Home from home my ratios are low so i am able to give individual and close attention to each individual child and cater to their individual needs. Safety, care and happiness of children is paramount and I offer many opportunities and activities as well as having the flexibility of home care.
I have both qualified in Montessori and NVQ 3 and i have incorporated both of these styles in the daily routine. I have 15 years experience working with children, working as a nanny, Montessori teacher, worked in nurseries, holiday clubs etc. I am a hands on person, hard working, who loves to encourage children to grow, develop and experience life at their own pace.
I involve the children socially and enviromently by what is going on at the time, though visits to museums, local shops, parks, soft play, and the local library. I also have a reasonable large enclosed garden which the children have the benefit of playing inside or out as i have reasonable sized enclosed garden which the children can grow their own plants and vegetables, read books, draw pictures, sand and water play, messy activities, roll in a ball pool, as well as many other resources and equipment which could be used inside or out. I also have 3 parks in close proximity.

I love being outside and having fun with the children ( weather and appropriate clothing permitting) and to give children the time which they can gain from the simple things in life, feeding the ducks, watching the rainbow, run, skip and jump.

I believe children have enough to think about ones they start school,I believe in helping and encouraging children to develop the vital skills including independence, self esteem and motor skills so all their need to worry about when they start school is to make friends!!! so i prepare the children though fun activities, like holding their pencil, putting on their own coat, shapes and colours.

We have good transport links, including both Barons Court and Hammersmith as well as there being many local buses.

I look forward to hearing from you
