Please note that this business is NOT in any way connected to the Harvester pub and grill chain. We a traditional 'boozer'.

We actually had the name first, as our pub name derives from the name of one of Harvey Smith's show jumping horses (on which he took Silver at the 1967 European Show Jumping Championship, behind fellow GB rider David Broome).

When the pub was built as part of the original Bingley Shopping Centre complex in 1972 it was given the name of the horse and officially opened by local man Harvey Smith.
