Hardwick Old Hall is a ruin of one of Bess of Hardwicks' manor houses, run by The English Heritage Trust. Join us and explore the property, discovering where the bottom of the household performed their daily tasks, to where the top dined and slept, surrounded by the stunning plasterwork that still survives in part to this day. The site has something for all, a large picnic area for families to come and have lunch; beautiful views accross the Derbyshire valley for photographers and a perfect place to stop off if you're cycling in the area or walking your dog, ramblers and muddy paws are more than welcome!

28th March- 30th September: Wednesday-Sunday 10:00-18:00 (Last Admission at 17:30)
1st October-1st November: Wednesday- Sunday 10:00-17:00 (Last Admission at 16:30)
