Harbour View Restaurant occupies one of the most historic buildings
in Whitby and has been serving traditional fish & chips since
1928 making it the longest established restaurant in town.

The recent renovation combines a timeless charm with a welcoming
and friendly atmosphere and a scheme planned to capture Whitby's
historic maritime past.

Our aim is to provide customers with the best seafood dishes,
expertly cooked, in a relaxed and comfortable environment, at great value.

Where possible we source all of our ingredients within the local area.
Thankfully we are blessed with an abundance of high quality
ingredients and products right on our doorstep.

The crystal clear waters of the North Atlantic are renowned for their rich
harvest of the very finest quality fish which is shipped through the Humber
ports direct to our door daily

The fish stocks in these areas are assessed by ICES as being at sustainable
levels or healthy and are being harvested sustainably.

Together we can safeguard the future of our fisheries and other marine
wildlife by only choosing to purchase fish from sustainable sources.

Harbour View is the perfect location to celebrate any occasion or to
host your private party. The upstairs 'Ballroom Restaurant' has seating for
70+ diners and has been sympathetically refurbished to preserve
the character of the building.
