Happy Hutch Holidays 2.23

We are an animal loving family who started offering 'bunny boarding' following much demand from friends and family for the service. We pride ourselves on cleanliness, flexibility, competence and honesty.

We are not a business and take no more than three 'guests' (or pairs of guests) at a time. We are happy to care for any small furry pet and have accommodation for rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters.

We have 10+ years experience of caring for a range of animals including: rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, budgies and canaries. We are happy to provide a copy of the owner's enhanced CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) / DBS disclosure for added peace of mind.

Accommodation
Your pet will stay at our home. Rabbits and guinea pigs are kept in large, new hutches (measuring approx 5ft for guinea pigs and 6ft for rabbits) with access to a large 6ft+ run for rabbits and/or a smaller 4ft run for guinea pigs (weather permitting).

Our hutches are outside but we can also accommodate indoor guinea pigs and rabbits. Indoor guests are housed inside our home. Our 4ft+ cage is suitable for 2 guinea pigs or 1 small rabbit. The domed roof gives added height so that rabbits can stretch and stand. The room itself is central heated and has a locked access door.

Bonded guinea pigs/rabbits from the same family can be kept together but otherwise pets are kept separately with their own accommodation, bowls, toys and run.

Hamsters are kept inside (obviously) and you are welcome to bring your pet in his/her own home or use ours.

Health and Hygiene
Food and water are changed daily. Bedding is changed regularly. Hutches are disinfected often and always between occupants as are food bowls, toys etc.

Prices
£5 per night - flat rate per hutch/cage not per animal.
Bonded pairs of rabbits or guinea pigs kept in the same hutch are charged this rate.
No hidden extras: Prices include everything (however, we recommend that you bring a small amount of your pet's normal food for continuity).
We have a small chihuahua who is kept away from guests at all times (she's terrified of them as she weighs in at 3.5lbs!)
